Just curious,..I've read the other posts on this but I would like to know who of you LT4 owners have changed to different calipers and or rotors. And how they worked for you,...also what exactly they came with.....thanks

My Grand Sport still has its original brakes and calipers (9,200 miles), but I'm thinking about changing the rotors to drilled, slotted Brembo rotors. These will be purely for looks, not performance. Hubby, Alan, just had them put on his '02 and we love the way they look.

Hawk Brake pads

I,ve replaced the pads with the Hawk Hi Performance pads and must say that it upgraded the braking of my vette:D . No more black brake pad dust and the stopping ability has increased dramactically. They cost a little more but are well worth it.]

I agree.Just don't get the HP-plus pads if you dont want alot of brake dust....but talk about stopping RIGHT NOW.A deer jumped out in front of me,(i was doing about 60)..I stomped on the pedal and,HOLY CRAP!If hadnt been wearing my seat belt,i would have smacked the top of the windshield with my forehead!NO B.S. It hung me in the harness.:v

Hawk HPS pads here, too. I like 'em alot. I have 80k on the vette now so I have tried several type pads; EBC green (warped a VBP cryogenic rotor!), performance friction Z (pretty good but dust badly), regular grade performance friction (don't get over 30 MPH if you want to stop somewhere down the road) and now the Hawk ( best so far). Oh yeah, I am back to GM OEM rotors now.
