95 coupe, I had the brake pads replaced about 500 miles ago, the rotors were turned, trying to save a buck. I believe they are warped, constant intermittent rubbing sound. And when I stop the squeal is awsome. I've got ceramic pads. My question is, can I replace the rotors now? Will it help the noise? Do I need to replace the pads again when I do the rotors? Did I screw up by not getting new rotors from the git-go. Guess thats more than 1 question. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

bob c

Just a comment on rotors.....it is recommended that if the rotors are warped or scarred, they should be replaced, not turned. Removing material from the rotor just makes them thinner, and more subject to warping.

I don't believe they were warped before they were turned. Could be wrong, but didn't have any issues with noise or rubbing sounds.

Your brakes should still be under warranty. I would recommend returning to the installing shop and ask for an analysis. It is possible there is a glaze on the pads, if they weren't bedded properly.
