I just bought an "85" and the telescopic lever is missing....real pain driving from fla. to ohio ! Can anyone tell me where i can buy one and the difficulty on installing it...i've got a wheel puller..thanks and i think i'm gonna like this site

Oh boy... I think the part is discontinued and you're going to have to search the boneyards for the piece. I'm not positive, but I think that's the case.

The are several Corvette junkyards, one of which first comes to mind is Tracy Performance in Michigan. Check 'em out. :CAC

Thanks Ken, it looks like he's got a few wrecked 85's on hand...i'll call him tomorrow

Can you clear something for me...is it the Telescopic Lever or the tilt lever that is broken?

I understood it to mean the telscoping mechanism, not a lever - the telescoping mechanism doesn't have a "lever", it has a rotating collar (?). ;)

Now, the tilt mechanism has a lever, but he didn't say "tilt". :L

If it's the TILT lever, I believe I have an extra in the garage parts box. No idea what it's worth, since they're apparently discontinued, but if you want it it's yours for shipping costs. Let me know and I'll dig it out.
