My 64 SB has no pcv valve but rather has two breathers, one on each valve cover . . how will this lack of a pcv system, aside from the polution aspect, affect how the car performs? It seems to run great!?

It won't affect performance, but may blow some oil mist out of the breathers and get things dirty. 64's originally had a fitting on the oil fill tube with a hose to an elbow fitting on the carb with a small orifice in it (rear of AFB's and WCFB's, left side top of Holleys) and a bolt-in adapter assembly from the hole in the back of the block just outboard of the distributor with a large hose to the base of the air cleaner.

Thanks John . . . I always appreciate your quick and concise responses!!
