I am installing fixed headlights and the bucket will only fit below the retaining bolts for the front bumper this doesen't look right but its the only way the bolt holes line up, can any one who has these on there car offer any imput on mounting or have a pic of the inside front of the light bucket/front bumper ?

Are they the Eckler's fiberglass headlights or the original GM aluminum buckets like mine? Keep in mind that there are different buckets for 68-74 and 75-up, the older ones mount above the nose support bar and the later mount below it.

There from Rik's Corvette. I ended up mounting below the noise support bar just painted to match the buckets ,its ok unless you get up close and look , really dispappointed with these ,but still better than all that vacum and menechics, I spent hours trying to get them to mount above that bar short of using a dremil tool/grinder to make them fit, I went under just so the holes would line up. Also the top of the sides there is a gap a fairly big one will half to use a foam strip to fill the gap.
Question I want to put the clear covers on but won't those just trap a lot of dirt in a spot you can't clean.

you'll have to take the covers off for cleaning from time to time.
