Ive heard so much about this one particular engine paint, that i decided to paint my intake, block, water pump , and some small parts ... all blue , using Bill Hirsch engine enamel (good to 600 f) . Well, the paint itself is very good quality and has not come off any of the parts. BUT...i started having problems with the aerosol cans nozzle clogging after the first spray. (Yes...i cleared the nozzle each time by holding the can upside down and spraying. And i also stored the cans upside down per Bill Hirsch's suggestion). The last 6 cans i got did the same thing. Bill has been very good at replacing these at no charge to me, but i wish i would have gone with some paint , locally , to save time waiting for the replacements to arrive.

My advice : Get your paint locally . At least you wont loose alot of time when your preparing for an upcoming car show, etc..

Bought 2 cans of hi-temp at the local auto parts store, it was more than enough and cost less than 10 bucks. No problems with the nozzles, and I was too lazy to turn them upside down to clear them too :D
