I need to replace the choke tube on my '60 283 with WCFB. The old one is broken off inside the exhaust manifold, something I've just become aware of upon removing my valve covers.
Here's the carb end of the tube which is a hand in glove fit.
Here is the broken manifold end.
I need to get the broken end out of the manifold. What's the best way to do that? I'm having a hard time picturing what the manifold end is supposed to look like. What's involved with installing it? Lastly, if the insulation doesn't come with the new one should I take it off the old one and slide it on the new one (after giving it a haircut)?
Thanks in advance for your comment.
