Ladies and Germs,

Isn't it time we assembled as many of our major project cars as possible for a C1 / C2 / C3 Project Group Photo?

There are two obvious locations for these photos -- CruiseFest 2005 in Bowling Green and Carlisle. Let's do both.

Since I intend to be in both places this year, I'm hoping we can assemble as many as possible for photos in each location.

There are two things to consider:

1. Looking for major restoration (for originality) -or- custom designed C1 / C2 /C3 projects where a high percentage of the work was done by the current owner. The project may have involved body-off-the-frame, and performance (engine, suspension, etc.) updates, paint and interior, etc. or a drive for Top Flight, etc.

2. Looking for the best possible setting for the photo without buildings or other cars in the background.....in other words, scenic.

What say you?

Who's in for the Bowling Green photo (Jun. 9/10/11)?

Who's in for the Carlisle photo (Aug. 25/26/27)?

My C3 project (68 on frame restore) is in South Texas. I hope I can have it completed by the end of Feb. for the big Vette show in Houston. Your locations are definitely too far for a cruise, but maybe a group photo can be done for those that are going to be at the Houston show.

You know... we Texans have to different :L

Good night Dick

Corvettes look better in pictures where there are buildings and people around--a 'vette is not the lone adventurous SUV tracking through the un-charted wilderness, a 'vette is made for having fun! Which means, instead of a Corvette sitting in a field in the country, show fun places and fun people.

My 76 has all work done by me, but I haven't got around to cosmetics yet :L

I will be getting around to it now that I have a C5 as a driver, I just cant make up my mind what I want to do with it ;LOL
I really doub't if it will come to Bowling Green, but It might make Carlisle

I do intend to be at carlisle in aug WITH my vette,it is under going more of on frame resto more than anything else... repair the body and fix what I need to make it drivableI am not doing the body ...I am having it done professionally by a friend who does it for a living up the street.every thing else I know I can handle.. I am hoeever trying to get the vette back to original as possible so I can have it judge within the next several year as time allows..

Gheez, if a 454 has to sit at the kiddies table........I will have to sit across the street on the grass;LOL
