I just ran over to my local glass shop and picked up my new windshield which they also mounted in the frame for me. It looks great as far as I can tell so far. I will test install it tonight for a good fit. I don't have my dash pad yet. The only thing I noticed is that the inside rubber lip on the bottom that would go over the dash pad is a bit wavy where the windshield has the greatest curves. I'm hoping this will lay flat after it settles. Windshield also has some tint to it which doesn't bother me. I had forgotten to give them the flex bolts that go into the bottom channel before installing. Fortunately I remembered early the next morning and took them over before they started the job. The total cash cost for the windshield and installing the frame was $200.00. They also did my drivers side window which they cut the glass right from their in house stock. Apparently C1 door glass is flat. This total cost was $65 installed into the frame also. Thought this info might be useful to someone out there.
PS: I gave the installer the thread I printed out from John Mc Graw as well as from Larry (IH2LOSE) concerning the windshield install procedure, they were happy to have it to review before the install. I also brought my caulk gun filled with butyl caulk...(To hold in the flex bolts). They weren't too impressed with that move so I learned that this was bad glass installer etiquette. Never bring your own caulk gun to the glass shop.![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
