We are trying to get the seat divider trim installed and are not sure what the best way is to install them.

The problem is with the clips that go on the back. It seems that we should screw the clips on then try and get the trim over the clips but we dont want to force anything.

So what is the best way to get those buggers installed with out making a mess of them too?

Herb,

The door trim installs with the screws clips being installed in the clips first, and then the clips being installed into the trim by turning the clip with the screw. You will notice that the clips will only trun a little over 1/4 turn before locking into the trim.
The remaining clips screw to the glove box, and the trim is just snapped on. Install one edge first, and then snap the other edge over the clip. New clips can be a bit stubborn, and sometimes you will need to squeeze the clips to take a little tension off of them.
