Stopped over today to see how the progress was coming on the car. Harry has the hood surround on the car and bonded in several places. It is starting to look like a car again. He made a fixture up to get the headlight bonding strips and the buickets in the right place relative to the tab location and the molding that runs down the top of the fender.
You will notice in many of the photos that the gaps have been set on all the doors and trunk...it is looking good. I think we are about 2 or 3 weeks from paint. Harry is also working up the mechanism for the electric hood opener. It is going to be quite the gizmo when he is done. Stay tuned for that!
