I bench tested my wiper motor and it ran very well in both speeds and parked itself just as it should when I shut it off. However after installing it, it started up fine and then after reaching the half way point it bound up and I had to disconnect the power. I also noticed that both wiper arm shafts (my wipers and windshield are not installed yet) are turning in the same direction instead of toward and then away from each other. Anyone have any experience with this and how do I rewire the cable to correct it? Thanks for any help.

Barry and Mailman thanks much. Now I get it. Passenger side cable run is criss-crossed and drivers side is not. On my car both sides have the cable criss-crossed.

Gary keep the momentum going,Its great to see you making so much progress.
Thanks Larry,
I am really trying to make a good push. It's not the lack of motivation it's the lack of time and the backorders that get me. How are you doing with the 62?

Thanks Barry for the .com so the link would work . Larry
"IH2LOSE" already knows that it was a long day for me
yesterday as I sold both my cars and all the parts ,now
all I need is to sell a roll cage and a 5000stall converter and
???

Roy are you saying you sold both of your 62's???!!!

Yes I sold both as that was easier for me to only
do this one time . It was a decision that took me
over two years to make , Not easy seeing the black
62 go down the road ,had it since 69,first car I bought
when I got back from Viet Nam .

That sounds familiar. I bought my '59 in August of '69 when I returned from Viet Nam. With any luck I'll be actually driving it some next summer. It's been setting a lot of years.
