My wife and I were there. Great event, as always. Had about 120 Corvettes running. Nice turnout. We brought 2 cars, the 69 and the 00.

I had a "fair" day. Couldn't get the 69 into the 13's. Ran a best of 14.1. The repro "Wide Oval" tires didn't help. I've run 13.7's and 13.8's with that car before.

My wife ran a 13.48 with the 2000 and backed it up with a 13.50. My best time with the 2000 was 13.8X, so I guess my wife gets bragging rights till next year. Chuck

That's it 427/400 THM 400 automatic. Monaco Orange/Black Leather Side Exhaust, AM/FM Stereo, PS, PB. You either love it, or hate it Some don't like Monaco Orange, but I do, just as I like Milennium Yellow.


Thanks for posting the pic. Wish the car would have run better/quicker. Don't know why my ET's were slower than previous years. The car was running GREAT...no misses, and pulling through the gears and shifting at the proper points. I did have problems hooking up, as the repro Firestone's didn't "catch" real well, even with 20lb. of air in them. Chuck
