Has anyone experimented with painting or powercoating disc brake rotors?
The rusty rotors stick out like sore
thumb on an otherwise very nice undercarriage.
Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

The rotor surfaces will ALWAYS show some level of surface rust in a humid environment or after sitting outside in the rain, which disappears with the first brake application - all disc brake cars do that. DO NOT put ANYTHING on the friction surface, or you won't have any brakes.

John, I did not make myself
clear I wanted to coat everything
except the braking surface any thoughts
on a good paint etc.

VHT makes a number of colors in their "Hi-Temp" line that would work on the center "hat" section of the rotor.
