C2 Simulated walnut steering wheel repairs

Has anyone attempted to do your own repairs on the simulated walnut steering wheel? If so, how successful were you and what products and procedures did you use. Specifically, I'm most interested in the repairs of cracks. Thanks -- Bill

Thanks to all. I've ordered repair materials separate from kit and saved a little money. I already had most of the tools. Epoxy repairs have been completed and awaiting the matching paints to arrive, mix and apply. Such a simple repair wonder why anyone would send it off to have others to do. Then again I'm not finished and may reverse my opinion then. Hopefully not. I'll post pix when completed so that viewers who have the same problem can do self-repairs with confidence. Bill
