Hi guys,
curious if anyone have info where I can get hold of HD parts for a strong Street strip rear end for my C2,
I know in the 70s there were Pepe Estrada axles, and rebuilt center sections with 12b internals etc, anyone know who does mods like this today?
Thanks!

Hi ,sure I will get some photos up soon on my project ,
just dont have a webhost for it at this time,

my car is in a process of a total rebuild right now, will have the body off a totally rebuild and mod off the chassie for better handling etc,
the engine I have ready for it is a 355" with AFR 180-58cc heads, and AFR RPM Intake, Holley 750 vac, 268 comp cam, 10,25 TRW pistons, Tremec TKO 5speed and now planning for a strong rear end that can handle sticky slicks without having to worry about it,

my first thought was to install a ford 9" since I already have one axle ready in my garage but I decided to keep the vette style rearend ,,altough beef it up a bit.

It is a modified project car that I got my hands on some time ago and I intend to to keep it as a modified car (with some new improved body mods and chassie improvements ) somewhat inspired by the modded cars in 60s 70s, wide wheels, flares ,sidepipes that I really likes,
I really love the white Wintersteen GS #002 roadster and and I guess it will be somewhat inspired by that one and towards a early 70style streetmachine :)

no not really, but I like to do occational racing without having to worry a bout it ,

My friend who done a lot of Dragracing with a stockclass BBc3 a few years ago he had a lot of problems with broken axles etc ,so his advice was go for better axle parts if using the stock rearend, especially if I wanted to do some dragracing using slicks .
