Just returned from a Sunday afternoon of ground pounding excitement! Took my '65 out for a drive and followed it up with a cruise in my 2001 coupe. Which do you think was more fun?!

That's easy. ;)

I have no doubt the C5 was more comfortable, drove easier, rode better, handles better, had more power, and if your weather today was like it was here, the AC was wecome to have, but overall I bet the C2 was just more FUN when it came to all-out sports car driving excitment
:)

hmmm.. I've been beating the local C5's on the roads around here so I'd have to say the only thing the C5 has on me is A/C... Dave...

I bet it was the C2.

Heck, I wish I could get a ride in one.

I saw a sweet mid-year parked at Home Depot today. I circled it 3 times, just admiring it. I finally quit because I figured someone might call the police :L

Dave,

You forgot electronic traction assist. That used be called hit the throttle as you drift out on the curve. Something along the lines of over-steer!! Or was it under. In any case it still is fun!

since you posted this in C1/C2 my guess is you will say the 65 was more fun. Coupe to coupe I would say C2, but why didn't you drive the vert on a Sunday?

Paul, ya I seem to keep having a problem with the traction control in my 66...hahhaha...Dave..

The wife went to the mall in it. I'd rather take a beatin' than go to a mall so I got my "toys" out and played this afternoon.

I've only been in a C5 once and never driven one yet. Come up to De sometime and we will swap cars for an hour or so. I'll let you take my C2 for a drive if you let me take your C5 out also
:)

I'd say I'd love to have a C5 also to go along with my C2 but that wouldn't be the whole truth....I'd REALLY love to have one (or two) of EACH generation!
LOL

That's a tough one!

I'm still trying to figure it out myself!

I have both a 65 and an 04. It's hard to decide as to which has the most fun factor.
