I had these in my 82, they are covered with ACC black carpet (same carpet we put in our cars) for a perfect match.
Made of 1/2" mdf and hold a pair of Kenwood Excelon bi-ampable two-way speakers. The are basically a component set built onto one chassis.
Mounts in the rear with no modifications.

Also Had this in my 82 for a little while. Barely used. You simply remove the storage tray door and jack and this pressure fits in place.
I'm including a Brand New Rockford Fosgate 8" subwoofer and grille. will fit 78-82, but may fit other years as well.
