Has anyone tried or seen the "CORVETTE EURO CLEAR 5 CONVERSION LIGHTS" found here EBAY

I hate the fact that my headlights are so dim...
but I dont want an "asian gangster" looking CORVETTE.

I can tell you, that ad is BULL****. Those are not European lamps. Our lamps have an E mark on them and take H4 or H5 bulbs. The projection image is different from US lamps. We have more light projected to the right side and less over to the left side. This is done so you can see road signs better and not blind oncoming traffix. Also, the bulbs have to be seperate from the light itself so you can chenge them (it's a stupid rule since you'll have to take the whole thing apart on a vette.. on "more common" cars here they can be accessed without removing the lamps)

I have the real euro lights and they're made by Hella. The real ones do NOT have that clear glass. Also, they wouldn't be legal in the US I think.
 
I have a full set of GE Halogen sealed beams, and they work great! (As an owner of Bosch & Hella halogens in the past, I'm qualified to say this.)

The primary issue is one of alignment. I spent and evening getting these pointed where I wanted them to be. In fact, I nearly ran out the vertical adjustment screws 'cuz I set them so high!

Those ricer lights are nothing but Cop Magnets...
