I have recently purchased my first Vette. Been looking forward to it for years. Its a 1976 that a guy i met had started to build up. It has a 1991 TPI installed on a totally renovated L-82. Works fine, but now front end sits up a little higher than stock...I'm guessing due to aluminum vice iron heads and headers vice cast iron exhaust manifolds. My question is where to start to drop the front end back where it belongs. One inch would be good, two inches down would be perfect. Right now the stance of the car is just a little off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
Hogger

replace it with a big block, that should do it.:D seriously,I dont think the heads and headers make that much difference but I could be wrong.I bought some small block springs from vett brakes that were perfect.Thats the only advice I can offer. :w

How much should I be looking at for a full paint job? I have a 77 with a pretty good body. It's already white I wanted to go pearl white.

Sorry about cluttering your thread. Personally i don't think it makes a big difference. I've recently changed my big block intake--heads--and came.

I'll let you know if I have a big differ. I should have it running by this weekend.

Thanks for the responses, not really concerned why car sitting too high in the front, just want to know what i need to do to drop it down an inch or two. New to vettes and not sure how to modify their unique suspensions.

It all depends on what you want. They range anywhere from 2k-7k.Pearl white is a pita so you might have a hard time findng someone to do it.Email me if you want some pointers on what the differences in pricing mean.:w

Hogger - contact www.VBandp.com They have the springs you need to lower your car. I put them on my car last year to lower mine.
