I have a 72 , and would like to know if anyone knows if BF Goodrich TA's 235x70x15 would fit with out rubbing, don't know how tall these tires are, maybe 28''. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I went to Goodyear, and I got the same size tires and YES they fit with no problems, they are the same diameter as original so theres no problems with the speedo. I put 255/60/15's on the rear and they fit fine too. PG.

I'm a bit foggy today, but I think you want to go with 235 60 15s. I'd bet on the 70's rubbing a bit from time to time.

I run 255/60/15s with no problems on either car. I know that doesn't answer your question but ... Its all I could come up with :L

You have a newer car, I couldn't ever have run 255/60/15's on the front of my old sled.

How old was yours. I have a 71 and a 77 with no problems at all with rubbing;shrug

Biggest I could ever put on my '69 was 245 60 15. My car has more miles on it than the space shuttle, so maybe my front suspension is a bit worn and sagging.
