C4 Blower Wheel In A C3

A couple of years ago I installed a C4 blower wheel in my '71 C3 to increase the amount of air out of my vents. The C4 blower wheel is an inch longer so the motor needs to be spaced out 3/8". I bought a 4-Seasons C4 blower wheel and found I had to press the hub about 3/4" deeper to make the wheel work but later found out I could have used a 1978 thru 1982 motor that already has the 3/4" depth difference. In the end my vents blow about 30% more air so the upgrade was worth the minimal $16 expense of the new wheel.
