hey,
hope you had a good weekend.was wondering if i could use the MAS ends or even the whole sensor off a 2002 on my 99.the reason i ask is,i cut the screen out and the air foil out and ported the snot out of my stock one.well im starting to get into tuning and after scanning my car i realize the one thing to leave stock is the MAS.i can get one off a wrecked 2002 but something tells me there probably different.i cant find another one anywere.thanks for any input.

Hi there,
Your 99 has a different sensor inlet diameter, and wiring than the 02.
In order to do this mod, you will have to change the airbox rubber adapter, the airbridge, and the wiring harness to the MAF because on the 02, the intake air temperature connector was built in to the MAF.

thanks alot.i will try to find the proper ends for the stock 99.i have halltech intake and dont really want the stock 02 air box.thanks again,the local 'expert' told me they were all the same,i didnt think so,so i fiqured ask the real expert.thanks again,
