Hope you can help me.. I was getting some service vehicle soon messages, but had no way of recording them, car seemed to drive fine though. Now today I bought/installed the VHP 170 thermostat in the car today along with a GMS(granatelli) MAF sensor... After that I went for a short run and it seems fine WOT, but it studders and hesitates at about 15 percent throttle... I also got the predator programmer because it can diagnose the DTC codes. But I did not install the predator tuning yet.. I was surprised to find over 50 codes with the predator diag...

Maybe you know of something that may cause all that to go wrong.. like I said it didnt start hesitating til I put the GMS MAF sensor on it. The only performance objects it has done are the GMS MAF, 170 temp thermostat, corsa X-pipe, borla stinger exhaust, k&n filter system..

I didnt try to install the performance tune on the predator, due to finding these codes...

Thanks for any input

Ok, now having said the predator reads DTC, I check to see what the DIC on the car says if it correlates. Nope.. No PCM codes found on the DIC.. but I did find these on th DIC..

U1064
U1088

all of which where 'H'

I am curious as to why the Predator said I had all those codes tripped....

Forget about the above post, I believe the DIC over the the predator anyday, but I would like to know what these mean and what I need to replace/fix...

HI there,
First, your Predator is your concern with all these codes.
When you are programming a PCM in Corvette, you must first isolate the communications line.
Noone is told this. This is where problems occur.
As SOH messages from all control modules are being sent every 2.54 seconds.
This will corrupt your data line, and create all the codes that you are experiencing.
I NEVER, EVER recommend that you install aftermarket programming unless you are heavily modified. This meaning supercharging or heads and camshaft.
The gains are negligable at best.
I am sorry, however, this is simply fact.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb
