C4C5 question

What does a P1406 code mean. My scanner says Pintle circuit sensor fault. This is on a 97 Chevy 1500 Van with 5.7l. Van drives fine but SES light is intermitent. I assume this has something to do with the IAC but you are the GM guru. All help is appreciated.;help

My local GM wrench turner says you may have an EGR problem. Check out this website....you'll need to have acrobat reader to open the file, however.

Remove the EGR and clean it ans it's passages, it's and EGR performance code it's sticking.
