What would cause my MAF to keep going bad. I had one go bad about 2-3 months ago. I replaced it and the car ran great. I have since gotten codes for High/Low Voltage in 02 sensors. I meant to replace them last week, but the weather was not good. I plan on trying this weekend. Anyway, the car started acting like it did the last time the MAF was going bad. (bucking while cruising) then I got another MAF code.

I can only think of one thing at this moment. You running a K&N air filter? Make sure you have not added too much oil to it. Have you tried cleaning the MAF?

How do you clean it? I am running a K&N, but it has hardly any oil on it.

I alway replace the 2 relays for the MAF when I replace the MAF

I did not replace the relays. They are the originals. I do have 85K, so maybe its time.

How about your relays? Go see www.c4vettes.com they really get into this RJS

To Jeff. How often have you replaced the MAF? Or relays? I was hoping one didn't have to do this often as the MAF is nutso expensive here...RJS

I replaced my MAF once, did the relays at the same time. since I converted to 1991 electronics I don't use the MAF anymore
