Hi..i've been wondering..i see alot of convertibles with "windscreens" to reduce noise/wind.. Would there be any benefit from one on a corvette coupe(removable top) while the roof is off? it can get a bit noisy/windy on the highway

I've got a pair of these
The VentMaster @ Davies Corvette Parts & Accessories
that I use all of the time. They let the air flow thru the car, and really help to reduce the noise and buffeting. They keep the hatch open about 2 1/2 inches, keep the cargo light out, and seem to be very sturdy. They can be found other places besides Davies, but that's where I bought mine.

cool..my only concern would be the possibility of something small/light in the trunk blowing out. And i could see it now at every red light "hey your latch is opening" haha
otherwise it seems like a good ldea.
How well does it reduce highway "turbulence" Andy?
thanks!

Dont know if you've tried it yet but I feel the buffeting is significantly reduced by lowering both windows about three inches.

I use it much more with the top off than on :D

It cuts the turbulence down quite a bit! Now I can even hear my wife telling me to slow down! ;LOL Maybe someone in your area has a set and could either give you a ride in their Vette or let you borrow the 2 pieces to try on your Vette. There's also a "wind deflector" that attaches to the two front targa top mounting points that "extends the windshield upwards by about 3 inches". It's called The WindJammer and I do not have any experience with it. You can check it out here The WindJammer @ Davies Corvette Parts & Accessories if you would like. Over the past 3 or 4 years, I've seen maybe 5 of them, and talked to 2 of the owners. Both of them liked the product. And yeah.........I DO get yelled at at lights for the hatch being open. I just give them a thumbs up and keep on motoring................
