hi there fellow c5 guys,
my name is glen from australia!
love your website guys!
i want to convert my old c4 1991 corvette front and rear emblems to c5 model ones and wanted to know wheather i have to drill new holes to fit the c5 emblems or not?

what is the measurement from peg/bolt to peg/bolt?

do the c5 emblems have bolts with threads and nut or peg with clip?
any help with measurements woulld be greatly appreciated!
thanks guys

I remember reading the rear emblem on the trunk of the C5 glues on so maybe no holes at all are needed?

I wish GM gave the option of an emblem delete feature like Porsche...

I don't personally care for the emblems and wish they were not on the car. I'm not going to go through the hassle of taking them off....but if I had my choice...

No emblems at all. Anybody looking at this car gotta know what it is...IMO

The rear emblem sticks on. The front has pegs but also sticks on. I removed both emblems on both C5's I've owned. Looks much cleaner and smooths out the cars lines. Removed the BSM's also. If you remove the emblems on a C5 you will have to fill the holes in the front and paint but it's worth it. As far as using C5 emblems on a C4, you may get away with sticking the emblem right over the holes. The rear deck emblem has no pegs so order that one.

I've got a set of C5 emblems on my '74. If you end up only finding front emblems, the pegs can be cut off with a sharp X-acto or utility knife - they're a relatively soft plastic. A pair of rear emblems would be better. They really add an updated look to the older cars! Just be sure to remove any wax/grease/etc. from the area with a good degreaser or denatured alcohol. There's little worse than trim that won't stick. You can use some masking tape to help with aligning the new emblems where the old ones were. I found it helpful.
