I am thinking of installing a 2006 ls2 intake on my ls1 1999.
I have the following,
TEXAS-SPEED LONG TUBE HEADERS AND X PIPE
COMP CAM 224 DURATION 581 LIFT
HARDENED PUSH RODS AND DOUBLE SPRINGS
HONKER AIR INDUCTION BY CALLAWAY
COOL 180° THERMOSTAT
B&B PRT. EXHAUST SYSTEM
CORVETTES OF DALLAS TUNE
LS1
AUTO TRANSMISSION
3:15 PERFORMANCE REAR AXLE
Does anyone know if this will approve my performance?

Also looking for a chrome plated c5 emblem for the rear deck to replace ugly black original.

I found front at ecklers but can't find rear.

The LS6 intake, standard on all 2001 and newer C5s, flows better than the LS2 intake and would be easier to find, purchase and install.

Agreed, LS6 intake is the way to go. My advice on the deck emblem is lose it all together, much cleaner look. I removed my nose emblem as well.
