I've got a dull rattle on the rear passenger side of my 02/C5 that occurs whenever I take left turns. It sounds sort of internal. Has anyone out there had any similar noises?

I had a similar problem with my car. Mine made that noise when I made right turns though. It sounds like it comes right behind the passenger in the trunk compartment right over the wheelwell. It was more of a light thump or tap sound on right turns or merging right. It sounded like something was shifting or moving. I looked all over for the noise. I even had the dealer check the suspension. It ended up being a simple problem though. It was my hatch moving around in the rear latches. I could push down on the passenger side of the hatch lightly when it was shut and it would make that noise I was hearing. It was just the sound it made when it moved up and down in the latch. There are two little rubber screws that you can adjust to tighten up the hatch. They are on the corners of the hatch nearest the bumper. I played with those screws until my hatch wouldn't make that noise. Try losening the screws and it will put more pressure on the hatch when it is shut. That made my noise go away.

Thanks...I'll give it a try.:w
