I have had 3 1962 4 speed Corvettes and 1 1964 Corvette, gears 4.11 to 4.56, all had posi, posi was working, off the line straight as an arrow, 2 nice black stripes, why is my 2001, 6 speed so squirrely when getting off the line? Are they all like that, running Michelin run flats sport tires,

I'm Not A Expert...But Here's Some Thoughts

1. Make sure the "traction control system is off.
2. Don't leave the line at more than 3,000 rpm unless you have a line lock.
3. Don't expect a great hook-up with those run flats (they're hard as a brick).

4. Don't expect to drive a C5 or a C6 like you would a C1, C2, C3 or a C4.
5. You will drive your C5 much different after you buy a new set of Michelin run flats sport tires for the rear.

6.my vette gets squirrely too-when I lay into it!I had it aimed straight?:ugh
