SoLow,

Why would you do this?

Remo:cool

C5's are beautiful and I would so put that bumper on my car... if the rear end was damaged or something. but if you have a nice 'vette, why not leave it stock? that bumper will only devalue it...

I saw this one on ebay...and I need to replace the rear on mine anyway and paint the whole car due to the clear coat coming off in long strips

It doesnt look like the seams line up that well on those parts. It seems like there would be a lot of body work needed to make those piece worthy of putting on a corvette

I gotta tell you, I have seen one of these conversions rolling around town, and in my honest opinion, it looks like crap. the fitment just isn't right:(

Bad Bad Bad Idea
I want to install the rear section only ......C5 tail looks superior to the early C4 or the ZL1 rear for that matter

I like the C5 lights with the C4 lines

Dang! Let the guy customize if he wants! I personally like the ZR1 style rear (ie, no 3rd brake light), but that's me. All he wanted was to know where to get them, and Jeff seems to have answered that...

Go for it. It looks great. I looks like mostly bolt on stuff that won't be hard to change back when it is old and it becomes a collector car. Just save all the take off parts. I like the front too. Nice combo with the C4 headlights and c4 hood. I wish they kept those on the C5. They are the coolest hidden headlights and hood of the all Corvettes.

Enjoy your Corvette the way you like it.:upthumbs

I agree with rest of the folks here... Do not modify looks of the car. There is no end to mods and it is too late and costly to revert to the original beauty of the car.

Hey, get it painted, add a few emblems and do things that makes it look more handsome. Consider painting it competition yellow (95 competition yellow 53U) and add some black decals / labels to the car... It gets sexyyyyyy

The problem is the C4 rear end is not as wide as the C5 rear, so the C5 looking bumper doesn't really look like a C5 bumper... it looks more like a squashed together C5 bumper. the overall size and shape of a C4 just isn't the same as a C5.

I strongly advise to find a C4 to C5 conversion to look at in real life before you put one on your car. the real life impression will give you the full effect before you spend the $$
