C5 Tensioner Adjustment?

My belt fell off the other day upon start up. The belt looks in great condition, no cracks no sign of wear. The spring in the tensioner seems weak. Is there any adjustment for the tensioner? I am selling the car in 1-2 days and dont want to turn over the problem but dont want to spend a ton of money at this point. Thanks, any help is appreciated. or email ghfun@aol.com

No adjustment. Just replace it if it is bad. Auto part stores may have one in stock. Your Chevy dealer will probably have to order one.
