I don’t own a C5 but I just installed the 1997-99 style wagon wheels on my C4. When I was cleaning up the wheels prior to mounting them on my car I notice that two of the wheels where manufactured in the USA and the other two had JAPAN cast into the backside of the wheel. They also have the same part number and the GM cast into the front of the rim. My question is. Did GM have wheels made in Japan? Or are these wheels a non GM reproduction or aftermarket wheel. Thanks for any information.

I'm curious, which two are Japanese made? I might change out the wheels on my C4 next year and there is quite a big price range.

I'm running 17 x 8.5's on all 4 corners. I bought the wheels in question off the original owner of a 97. He said the wheels where on the car when he bought it new. I sold the 18's and bought another set of 17's o Ebay
