C5 Z06 transmission oil change question

...this might be a dumb question ..... but my 2003 Z06 does not seem to have an obvious transmission fluid fill plug. The only semi-obvious thing I can see is that one of the transmission sensor connections gets removed to do double-duty as a fill plug.

And...that sensor is the fill plug. Remove it, fill and enjoy!

Another question .... what is this sensor? is it a fluid level sensor ...or?

It's the transmission overtemp sensor. All C5 Z's had them and all export C5s had them. Base cars for North American sale did not.

remember that when removing that sensor, fluid will spill out if the fluid is warm(as it should be before changing.)
