Okay, my wife called up our insurance company (I wont say which one) to make some changes to our auto policys and such when she got into a discussion with the Rep on the phone about adding a C6 Vette to our policy in a few months.
The Rep took all the data about the car and was able to calculate what our new insurance rate will be once we get the C6. She continued to discuss stuff with the Rep and happened to discuss financing...well one thing lead to another and it came out that we do not have the cost of the vehicle right now. The Rep said "wait a minute," put her on hold, and then came back with the Base price of the 2005 Coupe Corvette..... $43,700!
Apparently some big insurance companies are getting this data now so thay can build their rates and such in the database, so they're ready when us folks start to drive them. The Rep said they got this info from GM.
Pretty cool.
