Hi,
I am considering a new c6 and was curious if any c6 owners took delivery of their vehicle right off the car carrier. I would like to take off all of the packing/ transporting material myself.
Is there any servicing required of the dealer prior to delivery other than cleaning it up?
Thanks for the info.

there is a correct way to remove the plastic they put over the paint on certain parts of the outside and i do not know if the dealer will tell you how to do this. check the tire pressure because they bump them up for shipping

HI there,
There is a full checklist that a GM dealership MUST look over and verify with every Corvette.
Fluids, lower air dams installed, full diagnostic check of the computer systems, road test to confirm wheel alignment and check for abnormal noises and vibrations.
It will take me about 1.5 hours to do.
Allthebest, c4c5

Like posted, there are a few things the dealer is required to do.
If you don't want wash or wax , that should be no problem.

It was part of the deal NO dealer prep. Any problems i'd bring it back. I had no problems,They do such a careful job on the production line I felt very comfortable doing this.
