Okay, from the bean counter standpoint, that was a good move. But as from the car enthusiast standpoint, that really sucks. If people just wanted a "C5.5" with a little more power, they can save themselves the money and buy some mods for their current C5. Like I said before about GM, "You just buy what we build."

Come ooon. Talk about a snap decision. With all the cammo on the spy shots, you CAN NOT determine what the real look is. The AW photoshop is WRONG! Way, way too much front overhang. Be satisfied with the tidbits available from the Spyshots and wait for the next round of peeks we get.

I must be missing something I thought a generation change ment the car would look different from the C5, I believe we're just looking at a new C5.

I think you are missing quite a bit. But you aren't alone. Most people on this forum are looking at the AW photoshop with the long snout and reacting the way you are. Lutz, Hill and the design engineer (brain cramp - can't think of his name) have stated on more than one occasion that the C6 will have reduced front and rear overhang. The AW photshop font overhang may be longer than the C5 - not going to happen. Not the C6.

Save the Beta pics to disc and blow them up, lighten them and you will see some of the C5 / C6 differences. Please note that those front and rear bras are heavily loaded with foam purposely shaped to resemble the C5. The longer I looked at the shots, the more details I found. However, unless you lived in Smallville when the metor hit, neither you nor any of us - including Auto Week, knows what the front or rear facia really looks like.
