443 hp 413 lb/ft of torque is what is listed in this months Motor trend for the v8 verison of the cadillac CTS. (comparative listing to new Genesis V8 Sedan article.

I just assumed it would be the same motor as in the C6..

Maybe a slip up on the part of motor trend to leak GM info ?

I wonder what other little improvements they have in mind for the '08!! That really is amazing when you think about a stock, off-the-lot production car with 400 horses, let alone MORE than that! I always think back to the late 70's and 80's when you never heard the term horsepower associated with any vehicle because the number would seem so small! Now, every car ad on TV brags about its hp.
I like it better nowadays!

I think I remember seeing spy shots of the the new CTS-V with a wide body and the LS7. So it could be de-tuned LS7 numbers... I think Caddy is really trying to go after BMW M series buyers so it would make some sense in that regard.
