C6 Z06 Insurance

What do you think insurance will be like for the new Z06? When I bought my C5 I was surprised at how reasonable it is. Any ideas? Of course if I'm even thinking about a $75,000 car it really shouldn't matter anyway. Do you think some insurance companies will refuse to insure it?

Traditionally Corvette owners are so fanatical that the insurance companies don't really put a "corvette tax" on the insurance bill.


You're assumptions with aluminum frame etc...could effectively make the rates insane....but I'd be surprised...

The C5 hydroformed frame rails does make a hit tough to fix and the rates are very reasonable...

I'd guess the same for the C6 Z06...

Of course replacement costs for a 70 grand vehicle are more than a 45 grand vehicle so the rates will have to be somewhat higher..

Not a lot though...or at least I hope...
