Those car's are beautiful!

When ALMS came to Portland a few weeks ago, Chevy had a C5-R set up on display at one of the local shopping centers. Turns out it was not really a C5-R but a stock '98 with a C5-R body kit. I kind of had a clue, because the windows had about 5% tint on them (including the windshield) and it also had the standard C5 pop-up lights. Still a very cool car, but it lost a lot of it's mistque when I figured out it was a mock-up.

As for the C6.R's, what is that red ring on the rearend of each car that has the arrow pointing to it? An anchor for a wrecker to (heaven forbid) pull the car off the wall?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess it's an emergency shut off switch. Pull the handle and the battery gets disconnected. Just a guess.

Yep. Mandatory shut-off so rescue crews can kill it from outside.
