I'm coming up on my initial 7500 mile service and I see in the manual that GM does not want the transmission filter changed more than 500 miles prior to the 7500 mile mark. I could not find any reference to an ending window for this initial service. Is there one? My service advisor thinks the service has to be done between 7000 and 8000 miles. Is that correct?
