simple question, what is the best way to keep the cabin of the car cool and quiet so i can hear all the expensive stereo I paid for and so i will like to drive my car?

The car is going to have side exhaust so I was thinking about maybe trying to get some insulation into the doors as well. Anyone ever tried this?

there is heat insulation you can put under the floor mats, the sound of sidepipes is music to my ears

perhaps I should expand on my earlier explanation. I currently have the car taken completely apart (i.e. the body is off the car and the interior is completely gutted). So my plan is to put insulation every place i can stuff it. I am going to replace the stock AC with a vintage air system because my system is toast anyway and as I understand it, the vintage air system works better anyway.

As for the sound of the pipes, I to love the throaty rumble of a nice set of pipes. I want to insulate against heat mainly, but I want to eliminate as much road noise as I can. I was just looking for some suggestions on what good products protect against sound and heat or should I just put 2 different products down,l one for noise and one for heat.

Heat is defiantely my main concern especially through the doors into the cabin off of the side pipes.

Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Tom
