California cars ?

I just picked up my first ZO6, a black 2004 that was originally titled in California. My question is did GM create a Cali' special as they did in the late 70s, early 80s for the strict emission requirements ?

That car will have a California Emissions sticker but that's a certification/registration issue not a hardware or software issue.

The performance of a Z06 with California Emissions is the same as Z06es sold elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies. The car runs strong but I wasn't sure GM had something special built in for California.
It's a tad slower than my modded Y2K cpe but we'll take care of that in time......
