Folks, I was asked about the Bloomington "Gold Tour" and Callaway's being in it -

The answer I got back was if your Callaway has been invited to be part of the "Special Collection XX", "The Road Tour goes off on Saturday, and the cars will not be able to be taken out of the ballroom until Sunday at 3PM" .

Sorry to report this if you had planned on doing the drive - However, Stay tuned for other Callaway related events on that Saturday :upthumbs

thats a bummer!!!

Trailer Parking for Special Collection XX

If you are trailering yourself, this will be of help:

"Each car owner with a trailer will be given a complimentary trailer parking pass for the Pheasant Run lot. They can unload their car, take their trailer to the lot and leave it for the weekend, and drive their tow vehicle back and forth from Pheasant Run to their hotel, etc."

Looks like a Callaway seminar will be offered at Bloomington :cool

Is there anything in particular that you would like to see covered of shown at the event? If so, post your idea's here or e mail them to me -

Here is your chance to possibly get that one burning question answered about the Callaway Corvettes :upthumbs

The "CALLAWAY SCHOOL" is looking better & better every day - Stay tuned for more on this exciting part of the show :upthumbs

Looking for "Microfueler Troubleshooting Tips". That little black box is an elusive thing that will intimidate anyone who cracks the cover open. Thankfully, there's some documentation floating around about settings and so forth.. but it would be great to have a rundown directly from Callaway!

I know Bloomington has listed multiple classes for "paying" customers. Heck, if our Callaway Class is complimentary for owners and a friend-- I'll donate the beverages during that time ;) You know what that means! :L

re: Judging the Callaway Corvettes...

"Since the Special Collection Corvettes are inside the ballroom from Thurs AM to Sun PM, they can not be judged."

Sorry if there had been any earlier confusion - Callaway COrvettes not in the Special Collection may be eligable for the judging process though - Hope this helps

The Callaway Class will run two hours - with a 1/2 hr. included in that time for Q&A :m

Owners of cars in the Special Collection XX will be given a pass to the class as a courtesy :upthumbs

Class is Sat. 1:30pm - 3:30pm adjacent to the Balllrom hosting the Special Collection :cool

Had a full tank of gas, so I took the Callaway out for a little drive today. Remember, only 1/4 tank of gas is allowed for Bloomington.

I have about 1/2 tank in the SNAT & a full tank in the B2K - Looks like I will have to get out my siphon, I don't plan on driving it 300 miles in the next month :eek

One MONTH 'till Bloomington :v :m

I know I post on this thread more than i should (i'm not a callaway owner) but as a Corvette owner/lover I CANT WAIT UNTIL BLOOMINGTON!! It has always been a dream of mine since i was little to own a corvette and at the tender age of 20 I am. With all the kids my age driving Hondas, etc. (not my friends :) ) its hard to put words to an event like BG. I feel honored to be able to share this hobby with gentleman such as yourselves. I look forward to meeting you at the event! :upthumbs

(notice the SIG & avatar pics! :beer )

I too am really looking forward to Bloomington - I have never been, but have heard many great things about the show - I think this is a first time show for many of us :cool

You know, for many of us, the dream has been the same - I know in my youth, I scoured the books, magazines, etc and got all the info I could, dreaming of on day owning a Corvette :cool
Now that I do, I try to give back much of that enthusiasum, as do others with sites like these and events such as Bloomington...
The shows are not just for the Owners, they are for the Enthusiasts alike, enjoy :w

How Much Does The Class Cost And Where Do You Sign Up?the Form From Bloomington Does Not Include This Class.and Does Anyone Have A Agenda Yet On Meeting Everyone With The Callaway Owners Group.

Steve

You register directly with Bloomington, you can add it to your current form - Cost should be the standard for a 2 hr class.

Topics to include:
History & Development
Documentation
Technical Data
Maintenance
- followed by a 1/2 hr Q&A session
(plus more)

That's me!!! I to can't wait for this show!! Not only to get a chance to see these awesome cars, but to also meet the owners of these cars and put some faces with the names. See you all in a couple more weeks.

Reuben, 3 more weeks until Bloomington :upthumbs

...Bloomington Gold welcomes Reeves Callaway and Callaway Cars Inc. to the events of 2004. Reeves will cut the ribbon to open The Special Collection at 9AM, Friday morning, and be available throughout the weekend to talk Callaway Corvettes! :cool

Cool... Who do we need to talk to?? BTW, the weather forecast shows Isolated Thunderstorms Wednesday, Scattered Thunderstorms on Thursday, followed by Partly Cloudy Fri & Sat.

2 days away (but will see some of you tomorrow).

:cool

I spoke to Bill Locke earlier today (Tuesday). He mentioned that we just need to follow the directions sent to us via his 2nd letter. Invariably, though, he said we could pull up to any gate and they'll give us directions to the Ballroom. However, he requested that we at least have our armbands and/or invitation letters so the staff could verify our early entrance.
