here are some up and close shots of the awesome Megaphone pipes from a B2K - Kruzmisl's is reported to be the last one to get these from Old Lyme during assembly :cool

-MagicDragon - can I borrow a set of sockets ;)

I've never seen a pair of megaphone pipes on a Callaway, where they only manufactured during a certain time period. The look similar to NASA's rocket boosters! LOL I might get me those instead of staying with my Borla tips.

Johnny - You do realize there is NO muffler at all when the car had Meg's, right???

The turbos do quiet the car a bit but WHOA!!! It is still a rumble that is memorable :eek

Open your Borla's up all the way and that would be almost as aggressive :upthumbs

Good stuff :beer

Chris, do the megaphones sound distinctly different compared to Borla with the wide open plate. I've had mine open all the way for years. Do you know how much Callaway is asking for the tips only? Let me know anything on that. Take care

As Tony would say, "Theyyyyrrrrrre Great!" :D :D At really low RPMs I think the car sounds like a motor boat but from 2400 and up they really sound good. My buddy with a ZR-1 drove it the other day and said the sound was simply intoxicating. I won't say what else he said so I don't start any flame wars but the words "rip me a new one" (in the low end) come to mind.

Anyone got pics of them a little further back (so we can see how the car looks with 'em on)?? :)

Pretty sweet! I do like the looks of the "Double D" a little better, but I'd love to hear those!!

I have the center DD on the SNAT and I think there could be no sweeter sounding exhaust for that car BUT... On the B2K's - the Meg's are the "stuff" ;)

Unforgettable, as I still can envision the dark red metallic 87 running down the road here in the rain - all you hear is the whoosing of the turbos and grown of the Megs - then you see the car :eek
Awesome!!!

I just noticed that Callaway design emblem on the rear bumper. Is that a proto type ?

I think 88 and newer should have some type of emblem on the rear as well. Hey, maybe we should come up with one (nothing big) and put them on our cars. (non aero cars of course) we can even vote on the style :D

Yea or "twin turbo"
