There was some confusion about information posted about a Callaway member who had passed away but CAC members were still seeing him logged on after the accident information.
I sent Callaway95 an email. Following are my text and the reply I received.

SENT:
Hello,
We at CAC have received information about Dave passing away in a motorcycle accident, yet we have seen his user ID logged into our site after the reports of his accident.
I would like some clarification, as this is confounding our members.

I have no tactful way of expressing this, please accept my appologies.

Would you, who has been using Dave's user ID "callaway95" at CAC, please post something either in the Off Road Lounge or the Callaway Forum to give these members some closure. It would perhaps also be able to help you during your time of loss to know that many others are aware and sympathize with you overDave's passing.

RECEIVED:
His wife and I (his sister) have been looking on the forum to make sure that something was posted after speaking to a friend of his. Didn't realize it would come up as him on the forum.

Yes, David did pass away on Thursday, 6/5, from a motorcycle accident. This was the saddest day in the world for us.

If any of his racing friends would like to attend his memorial services in NJ, the viewing will be held on Wednesday, 6/11 at Moore's Funeral Home, Wayne, NJ in the afternoon and evening. The funeral will be held on Thursday, 6/12.

You can email us back, but we may not be able to respond right away, as we will be busy making arrangements.
Thank you,
Debbie Ramsden and Linda Romano
