I saw a camber brace for the C4 vettes on www.madvet.com for $199.99 is it worth it? Does it really make any difference? I just ordered new bilstein shocks, and polyurethane bushings for every suspension bushing, what else other than tires can make my car handle better? My car is a 1985 (w/Z51) I also will have a new alignment done.

Yes, the Camber Brace is definitaly worth the money. I drive my vette on the street and autox, it improves both types of driving. You don't notice it much in "normal" driving, but it helps out with "spirited" driving. Call Dave at www.r-dracing.com, tell him I sent you.:beer

Does it mount above the current cross brace? My 1985 has a factory brace welded in between the fram rails right under where the camber brace supposedly goes?

What is a camber brace?
Got a picture or website to look at?

The beam located in front of your engine is a frame locating beam, which is all it does. The Camber-brace mounts to the upper control arm mounting points and stops the cross member from flexing during cornering and uneven road conditions. For more details, check out our web site. www.r-dracing.com or feel free to give me a call.

Thanks for the info, next week I am putting all poly bushings throughout the suspension, and bilstein shocks, and some other fun stuff (brakes, stainless steel lines, etc. , then I plan to autocross a little and then get a camber brace, it'll be a while but I will give you a call as soon as I finish everything.

I'll be calling you Dave. As soon as my parts check (income tax return) comes in ;)

I've heard nothing but good things about what you are doing and the camber brace in particular.
