!963 Red Split Window Coupe
The on going saga that has been the restoration of my '63 has taken a toll on my patience and wallet. Over the last few months I have been trying to get the car finished, with the last big item being trying to get the side windows installed. Well the windows still aren't in and my frustration had reached it's limit. I pretty much decided to sell the '63 and get a C-5. Until yesterday that is. I put about 150 miles on it yesterday and it would take an obscene amount of money to get it away from me now. It's amazing how cars like this can do that to a person.:cool Classic

Glad to hear that you got some clarity back in your vision about the car;)

The mystique of these cars is worth all the sweat equity and difficulties along the way. Trust me, I have a C5 vert and a '65. Each is very cool in their own way, but the charisma and pure enjoyment of "driving" not "riding" makes the early car the fun choice:cool

Enjoy the car!

As I hope to re-discover in approximately 10 months from today. :D

Good for you.

'67, after seeing your project today and the sweat equity and passion that you have been putting into it...........we probably won't be able to get the smile off your face for months after that first ride:D

You're right, Fuelie.
