A buddy of mine just bought a nice 78 silver anniversary Vette. Its an export car with the L48/auto combination. It appears to be very original under the hood but the numbers dont match. The numbers on the pad are M05159VP and it has 993 heads(no vin stamping). Is there anyone out there that can look these numbers up for me?Thanks in advance. The "MO" usually tags it as a Targetmaster or Goodwrench replacement engine - if so, will probably have "Hecho En Mexico" cast next to the casting number on the bellhousing flange.
